Attack on Titan: The Last Attack Movie Sets November Release Date
Attack on Titan the Movie: The Last Attack is set to release in Japan on November 8. This 145-minute compilation movie will include enhanced versions of the first and second parts of the Final Chapters specials, with improved animation and 5.1 surround sound.
Studio MAPPA, which has animated the series since Season 4, will handle the project. The movie’s main trailer and a new key visual have been revealed, showcasing a young Eren reaching out to the sky, away from the massive titans and everyone else.
The visual will also be featured on clear files given as theater-exclusive bonuses. Advance tickets for the movie will be available for Japanese fans starting September 20.
In addition to this, the manga, created by Hajime Isayama, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with special projects.
Studio MAPPA’s involvement in animating the series from Season 4 onward has been well-received, and the movie aims to provide a polished and immersive experience of the Final Chapters.
The series, originally published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021, has been noted for its dramatic and intense storyline.
The anime adaptation has built on this reputation, with Studio MAPPA’s animation contributing significantly to the series’ impact.
The movie will compile and refine the Final Chapters’ story, offering fans a new way to experience the culmination of the series.
For those following the series, Crunchyroll describes the Final Season’s final chapters as a high-stakes battle where Eren, driven by his resolve to protect Eldia, leads an army of Colossal Titans against Marley.
The tension rises as former allies and foes attempt to stop Eren’s destructive mission, questioning whether they can succeed in halting his plans.
