Forestella is reshaping the rollout of its highly anticipated fourth full-length album, “THE LEGACY”, with a new release date set for April 23, 2026.

Originally scheduled for April 20, the album has been delayed to allow for further refinement, signaling the group’s commitment to delivering a project defined by precision and artistic depth.

According to their agency, Bit Interactive, the decision was made to enhance the album’s overall sound quality and completeness.

At the center of that effort is the title track “Armageddon,” which is being produced using an analog mixing process, an uncommon choice in modern production that reflects Forestella’s focus on creating a rich and distinctive listening experience.

For a group known for blending classical, pop, and crossover elements, this attention to sonic detail aligns with their established identity while raising expectations for what may be their most refined album yet.

Ahead of the release, Forestella unveiled the full tracklist through its official channels, offering a preview of the album’s scope.

A key element of “THE LEGACY”  is the involvement of member Kang Hyung-ho as a producer. His role in shaping the album’s direction adds a personal layer to the project, allowing Forestella’s identity to be expressed with greater clarity and cohesion.

Longtime collaborator Jang Jae-won also contributed, ensuring continuity with the group’s established sound while supporting its evolution.

## Forrestella’s New Album Built Through Performance And Connection

The project includes 12 tracks, led by the title song “Armageddon” and the pre-release single “Still Here.”

Other tracks such as “Nella Notte,” “Etude,” “In un’altra vita,” and “Parla piè piano” highlight the group’s signature multilingual and genre-crossing approach.

The inclusion of globally recognized pieces like “Scarborough Fair” and “Now We Are Free” further emphasizes their ability to reinterpret familiar works through their own musical lens.

Notably, two fan-favorite songs, “And Spring” and “Snow Globe,” return in newly reworked versions.

Originally released in earlier projects, these tracks have been reimagined for 2026, giving them a renewed place within the album’s narrative.

What sets “THE LEGACY” apart is how deeply it is tied to Forestella’s live performances. Many of the songs included in the album were first introduced to audiences during the group’s national tour and appearances on programs like Immortal Songs.

These early performances allowed fans to engage with the music before its official release, creating a sense of familiarity and anticipation.

The album, in turn, becomes a continuation of that experience, connecting past performances with a fully realized studio project.

This approach highlights Forestella’s meticulous planning. Rather than presenting the album as a standalone release, the group has built a narrative that unfolds across stages, broadcasts, and now, a complete body of work.

To accompany the release, Forestella is extending “THE LEGACY” beyond music through a dedicated exhibition titled “Fragments of Legacy”. Running from April 21 to May 2 at Gallery Vit in Seoul, the exhibition will reinterpret the album’s themes visually.

An Ambitious Tour Anchored By Orchestral Ambition

The release of “THE LEGACY” will also be supported by a large-scale tour, “THE LEGACY: SYMPHONY”, which begins in Ilsan on April 25 and 26 before continuing to Seoul, Incheon, and Busan.

One of the most notable aspects of the tour is its use of a full live orchestra. Under the direction of Park In-young, Forestella will collaborate with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra to deliver what is described as their first “real orchestra sound” concert series.

This orchestral element is expected to elevate the group’s already dynamic performances, adding depth and scale to their signature harmonies.

With its delayed release, expansive tracklist, and multi-layered rollout, “THE LEGACY” represents more than just a comeback for Forestella.

By prioritizing sound, storytelling, and audience connection, Forestella is setting the stage for a release that is both technically refined and emotionally resonant.

As April 23 approaches, anticipation continues to build. For fans, “THE LEGACY” promises not only new music, but a fully realized artistic experience that extends far beyond the album itself.
