One Piece Chapter 1091: Release Date, Spoilers, Recap & Where To Read
After another reader requested a cover page with the hope of getting a canon plotline really soon, fans are so excited to find out what is going to happen in the upcoming chapter of the series, and that is why they are anticipating the release date of the next One Piece chapter 1091.
The cover page of the last chapter shows that Captain Kuro is reading a book to giant cats. I really like the cover page of this week, and I also do wonder when Captain Kuro is going to pop back into the manga because the last time we saw him, he was still a pirate. I still feel that we are going to get an update on Captain Kuro eventually, along with the rest of the villains of East Blue.
When the chapter actually opens up, we see that Luffy is opening the chapter in a very Luffy-like fashion. I really enjoyed the conversation here, not because there is anything super deep happening here, but mainly because this is Luffy’s first interaction with the Gorosei.
I also think that, before this chapter or this particular event, Luffy didn’t even know that there are some guys who are known as Gorosei, and to him, they are just the five old guys in a room. However, now, with the release of the last chapter, they are now finally getting closer and closer to their realm. So much so that Luffy can declare to them that he is going to be the King of Pirates.
After Luffy’s declaration, he says that they are allied with Dr. Vegapunk, and if any of these guys care about York’s life, then they must have to back off a little bit. They got to leave this island. Kizaru and Saturn pretty much have the same gist of what is happening, and that is why they are not super shocked.
One Piece Chapter 1090: Recap and Review
There are someones who are really shocked by this update, and they are Morgans, Vivi, and Waffle. Morgan listening to this conversation shows that he might have some sort of payoff in the later part of the story. There is also a couple of other options here, like he may print a new newspaper saying that Luffy has allied with Dr. Vegapunk.
We can also make some theories here like Morgans might meet Luffy at Egghead Island because you gotta remember, the Lab phase of Egghead Island is floating above the clouds, and Morgans flies his airship along the clouds. This is why it is possible that maybe they will meet up at some point along the way.
After the end of the conversation between Saturn and Luffy, Saturn says that there are three things that must protect here on Egghead Island; York, Punk Records, and Mother Flame Fascility.
In addition to that, he also says that the only one that they really need out of all of them is York because if Punk Records has been destroyed, there is a slight possibility that York will recover it. The same goes for the Mother Flame, as even if they lose it, York could technically rebuild it.
Saturn was saying this removes a lot of the restraints that they set on themselves in the previous chapters.
Coming back to our group, we see that York is crying and says that she is going to tell the Gorosei, and they are gonna destroy Egghead Island just like Ohara. Because of this, Nami hits her.
