Outlander Season 7 Episode 6 Ending Explained

outlander 1

Outlander Season 7 Episode 6 ending is what makes fans curious right now. The brand new season has only recently started airing in June and is supposed to have 16 episodes. It has been confirmed by the creators that season 8 will be the last which may come next year, making season 7 the penultimate installment of the show.

Throughout the episodes, we see the struggles of Jamie and Claire as they are seeing their home, their America change during the Revolution while it brings on a variety of new settlers along with a threat of war.

Recently in Outlander Season 7 Episode 6, we saw that Claire and Jamie are helping the civilians flee from the Ticonderoga Fort. This happens after the Britishers have invaded the place and it is no longer safe for anyone.

There was a lot of chaos during this episode and at the same time, Claire gets captured by the British army. But well, Jamie is not the one to leave her behind and he finds her. The duo escapes together from the place. Then we see Rogers in the 1980s where he is finally coming across the mysterious Nuckelavee. Turns out that he was Buck Mackenzie all along, his great, great, great grandfather. I don’t know how many greats are in there.

What Happened At The Climax?

As for Jamie and Claire, we see them arriving at the Continental Army Camp where they finally meet with their friends and family. Well, the ending surely happened on a cliffhanger and we would try to explain it in detail.

We see that Jamie and Claire have come to the Continental Army camp where their friends are also staying for a while. Although, nothing is certain because they are still in the middle of a war situation and thus, it is making everything unstable. They cannot even begin to imagine the future for their home and people or even themselves. Now, there are a few things that you guys should note here.

Jamie and Claire are now on the opposite ends of the war and it is bound to get brutal. Jamie is now going to fight for the Continental Army and help them save the land. As for Claire’s son named William, he is going to fight for the British. This creates a very tough situation for Jamie to be in.

It is obvious that he believes in liberty and that everyone should be free and not have Britishers forcing their every move. Although, his loyalty towards family is also very strong thus creating a rift between his two core ethical values.

Also, the ending was pretty brutal and the entire episode felt like just a trailer for what is to come in the future. We can expect the war to get worse. Jamie and Claire are now in the protection of the Continental Army, but the camp is actually losing ground. This ultimately means that the duo is in huge danger. This means that the next episodes to come are going to explore more dramatic themes of war and chaos than we have seen till now.

As for the ending, we were left with various questions that are not answered yet. I mean, what is to become of Jamie and Claire? They are obviously on opposite ends of the war with their families included so what will it be? Will they leave each other or reunite better than they could have ever?

The American Revolution was taking place and it would also be interesting to see how it develops into place. The ending really brought out the suspense in the minds of the viewers as everyone was wondering about what would actually happen. The second half of the season is pretty close and we would love to see what evolves with the same now that the undertone has already been set by the creators with the initial episodes.
