With 1,000 participants under 50, the poll crowned Goemon Ishikawa from Lupin III as the top swordsman, surpassing Zoro significantly. Goemon’s ability to cut through virtually anything, from rocks to bullets, resonated strongly with voters, earning him 177 votes compared to Zoro’s 72. Despite ranking second, Zoro’s Three Sword Style and unwavering determination left a lasting impression.

Many respondents praised his fierce fighting spirit and his ultimate goal to become the “World’s Strongest Swordsman,” a pursuit that mirrors Luffy’s quest for the title of Pirate King in One Piece. Participants acknowledged Zoro’s character growth through losses and setbacks, highlighting his resilience and determination to improve.
