What happened in season 1 of The Longest Promise?
Zhiyuan admitted that he had made a contract with Xuyao under which he would also accompany Xuyao on a search for the Sea Emperor. Zhiyuan wishes to build a new cloud where all living things are treated equally.
Zhiyuan handed Yan the Houtu and taught her a spell to safeguard herself when Yunhuang fell since she believed she wouldn’t want to live with him when Yunhuang was destroyed. The Ice Tribe force became a mortal body after losing the emperor’s authority, and the Kongsang army quickly gave it up. Shi Ying successfully removed the Nine-tailed Pill from Wu Xian’s inner body using the power of Qiyao after luring him to the White Tower.
This resulted in Wu Xian’s demise. When Zhu Yan was located by Shiying, Zhu Yan informed her that she had acquired Houtu and that Shiying could control Huangtian’s ring if she learned Huangtian’s magic. Additionally, she has already devised a plan to break Huang Tian’s spell. To fully transform into Yaoyi, Zhu secreted Time Shadow under her sleeve and asked Zhiyuan to cast a spell on her to erase all of Zhu Yan’s memories.
Shiying utilized the chance to break through Huangtian’s magic and successfully manipulate Huangtian’s ring, while Zhiyuan used Huangtian’s strength to cast a spell on Zhu Yan. Zhiyuan wants to permanently imprison Shiying and Zhu Yan in the Glazed Illusion after losing the Empress Earth Ring. Shi Ying and Zhu Yan deal with Zhiyuan using the power of the very Empress Earth Ring, and Zhiyuan also manages to escape Xuyao’s influence at a crucial juncture.
He offers Zhu Yan an apology before deciding to die beside Xuyao. When Xuyao saw that Zhiyuan’s soul was fragmented, she sought to woo Zhu Yan. Shi Ying was obliterated by fate, and Zhu Yan held Shi Ying responsible for the deaths of her parents. Xuyao constantly enchanted her.
Shiying decided to seal the Void Spirit with his own life. Shiying gave Zhu Yan the jade bone and instructed him to kill the man so that Xuyao might be permanently imprisoned inside of him. Although Zhu Yan had previously witnessed Shi Ying’s death in front of her, she was unable to do so this time. Shi Ying instructed Zhu Yan to commit suicide and declared that it was the Fa students’ responsibility to protect Li Yuan from harm.
Zhu Yan gave Shiying a bear hug and plunged the jade bone into Shiying’s heart while observing her expectant gaze. Shiying promised Zhu Yan he would return to see him every time the flowers bloomed in the chilly snow. In the end, Zhu Yan had nothing but icy leaves when Shi Ying’s corpse disintegrated into countless snow-cold flowers and dispersed. A year later, Qing Gang petitioned Shi Yu for permission to leave his position and suggested Qing Yi succeed Qing King.
There must be six fiefdoms where patriarchs of all ethnic groupings are stationed. He is the Qing King, while Xue Lu is the White King. He believes that Xuelu’s skill in government issues is far more effective than his own and does not wish to go to a new location. He is ready to make good on Xuelu’s long-held desire to revive Yecheng. Shi Yu was happy to have those right-hand men by his side and complied with King Qing’s request.
Zhu Yan visited the spot where she and Shi Ying initially met in the palace while the snow was in full bloom because she missed Shi Ying; therefore, she left the snow petals Shi Ying had left there.
Unexpectedly, the petals rose to the branches and transformed. In the sunlight, they became tainted with a layer of gilded shine, and a shadow of time also emerged from them. After turning around, Zhu Yan noticed the shadow of time moving in front of her eyes.
