TOKYOPOP Expands Catalog With New Manga Releases for Q2 2026
TOKYOPOP has revealed its Spring 2026 publishing slate, confirming the release of 15 new manga titles scheduled for the second quarter of the year.
The lineup reflects a broad editorial strategy, combining video game adaptations, boys’ love (BL) narratives, romance, fantasy, and slice-of-life storytelling. The April rollout is led by Honkai Impact 3rd: Second Eruption, a manga adaptation of the popular video game franchise, alongside The Tale of Luvelia Kingdom, a romance-driven fantasy centered on royal intrigue.
Additional April releases include a mix of genres such as the coming-of-age BL one-shot A Nightingale Awaits the Blooming Love of Spring, the fantasy-themed Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land, and the modeling industry romance Waiting for You at the End of the Runway.
The publisher will also debut Bride of Ignat, an award-winning BL series, and release an omnibus edition of A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation.
The May schedule continues with I Picked Up a No-Good, Useless Prince, a character-driven slice-of-life romance, and Beneath the Falling Camellia Bloom, a historical drama exploring a father-daughter relationship.
The month also introduces more mature-themed titles, including Shinjuku 69 Heaven and Nagi & Hayasaki, both positioned within the BL category. Additionally, TOKYOPOP will publish FAR CRY: Cull the Herd, which reinterprets characters from the Far Cry video game franchise in a prehistoric narrative setting.
June’s releases are comparatively limited but focused, featuring two one-shots: Strobe in the Dark, a coming-of-age BL story centered on youth and unspoken emotions, and 300 New Days With You, a drama exploring memory loss and enduring relationships.
